Description
La Vougeraie is all about revealing terroirs in excellence. A demanding philosophy expressed from the outset by the choice of organic viticulture: rediscovering living soils, the essence of exhilarating wines. Very quickly, in 2001, biodynamics took its first steps, gently, in a more holistic vision.
Bright pale gold color, slightly silvery.
The nose, of great finesse, blends fresh citrus fruits (lemon, bergamot) with notes of white flowers, flint, and toasted hazelnut.
Upon aeration, deeper touches of fine honey, fresh butter, and brioche bread are revealed, testifying to the subtle and controlled aging.
On the palate, the texture is both dense and crystalline: the wine stretches with a brilliant mineral tension, supported by a straightforward acidity and a salinity that prolongs the finish. The length is exceptional, marked by a purity and energy typical of the terroir..
