3 Day Tour to Merzouga and the Sahara Desert From Marrakech

Departure from marrakech to ouarzazate, via the High Atlas Mountain, through the Tizi-n-tichka (2260m) pass. Exeptional landscapes to finally reach Ait Benhaddou's village and its famous Kasbah, world heritage. Then we will countinue to Ourzazate. Morning departure to merzouga passing through the 1000 Kasbah's Valley, the rose capital Kelaa Mgouna , Boumalne and the, Tinghir. Drive up to the Todra gorges (lunch break) with its wonderfull green garden . In the afternoon we will drive to Erfoud via the Tinjdad and Tourog palm groves, then, a stop at Erfoud to learn about the manufacturing of marble and fossil. We finally reach our camp to have a bivouacking night over the Merzouga's dunes of Erg Chebbi and exchange our car for camels to admire the sunset. Early wake up to watch the sunrise on the dune , then breakfast at camp and return back to Marrakech.
