Traditional Bidayuh Longhouse and Empurau Experience from Kuching

Discover the Bidayuh tribe’s Mongkos village near the Kalimantan border.  You’ll find that Mongkos is a thriving rural community & home to one of the few remaining traditional Bidayuh longhouses in Sarawak. You’ll visit the traditional longhouse for a  tour to learn about its history & experience how a native lunch is prepared.  Kampung Mongkos has two of the very few surviving Bidayuh longhouses in Sarawak. The village has existed for over a hundred years and is located near Sungai Mongkos.
