The Ornellaia Estate was created in 1981 and is located near the picturesque village of Bolgheri, on the unspoiled Tuscan coast. Ornellaia, Estate’s flagship wine, was first produced with vintage 1985. Ornellaia's 'Essence': its natural style, the exceptional quality of its terroir, and the competence of those who work in the vineyards and the cellar. 

Blends: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Petit Verdot

A particularly dark and young colour is the prelude to a complex nose of black berries, spices and cedar.

The palate is rich and dense, balanced by a refined and firm tannic structure, lifted by a juicy and bright acidity.
