Mount Etna Excursion at Maximum Altitude Departure from Catania

Our tour of Mount Etna takes you to the maximum altitude allowed, up to 3000-3400 meters, for an authentic experience away from the most tourist routes. With a 4-5 hour trek, you will walk over active craters, closely observing the fumaroles and degassing of the volcano top. We will reach an altitude of 2500 meters with the cable car (ticket to be paid separately on site), and then continue on foot between lunar landscapes and breathtaking views of Sicily. The route also includes a visit to a lava flow cave, a unique opportunity to discover the underground formations shaped by eruptions. Groups limited to 10 people, equipment provided and a perfect experience for true hiking enthusiasts.
