Didacus meaning “supplanter, held by the heel, heel-grabber, leg-puller.”

The Chardonnay Didacus 2020 displays a pretty golden color. It reveals an exotic bouquet with aromas of crushed yellow apple and peach enhanced with notes of almond extract, vanilla custard and smoke. 

Fluid, silky and almost oily, it is undeniably elegant and reveals notes of confectionery spices intertwined with saline minerals which create a beautiful tension, while flavors of orchard fruits titillate the senses. 

Ends with an incredibly long finish with a lingering hint of perfectly integrated oak, while a bitter nutty note gradually fades. This elegant vintage of Didacus is among the best Italian Chardonnays
