Crete: Lasithi Plateau Guided Hiking Tour

Come hike with us on the highest peaks of Crete, see the amazing Lassithi Plateau from above and be part of Crete's stunning landscapes. Your hike starts close to the Lassithi Plateau. We start ascending from an old minoan path that will lead us up to your highest point, the peak of Karfi (1100m altitude). There we will see the spectacular mountains of Dikti (2148m altitude). Karfi is the ancient settlement of the Minoans which was inhabited at the late Minoan period (1200 - 1000 BC). Through your hike we will have amazing 360° views towards all directions, wonderful sea view and at the same time the spectacular mountain peaks of mt. Dikti that exceed 2000m altitute. After our hike we will visit the traditional villages of Lassithi plateau. Last but not least we visit the monumental Platanus tree in Krasi. Definately, an experience that will lead you through Crete's hidden gems. Activity level: Moderate Participants need to have a good fitness level
