2020 La Demoiselle de Sociando Mallet Haut-Médoc - Bordeaux Red G01

In 1969, in search of a wine estate for sale for one of his Belgian customers, he discovered Sociando-Mallet in the commune of Saint-Seurin-de-Cadourne. It has a real love at first sight for this property, however in a sorry state, but offers a magnificent panorama on the estuary of the Gironde. He therefore immediately decides to buy it for himself, and against the sum of 250,000 French Francs.

The Demoiselle de Sociando-Mallet is produced from the younger vines of the property and the plots whose soil is more favorable to the production of very good Merlot. 

Blending: 87% Merlot, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon

An intense bouquet combining freshness, fruit, and oak influence. Inviting notes of blackcurrant and mint.

On the palate, the wine is dense, full-bodied, and well-structured with tannins. It has character, a lively structure, and a persistent fruity expression on the finish.

A delicious, crisp, and elegant wine.
