Your day begins with a relaxing one‑hour drive from Southampton to the magnificent ruins of Corfe Castle, one of England’s most iconic medieval fortresses. Here you can enjoy a self‑guided exploration of the castle grounds, taking in sweeping views across the Purbeck countryside. We then continue to the dramatic coastline of Portland Bill, home to its famous working lighthouse. If you wish, you can climb the internal staircase for a unique vantage point over the English Channel.
