Vermentino SoloSole 2023 Poggio al Tesoro Tuscany - Italy White E04

The name is SoloSole, meaning " Only Sun, "and it is a Vermentino di Bolgheri, which is vinified in purity. Its name expresses the very close bond between this Mediterranean vine and the Bolgheri terroir: it is in fact essentially the fruit of work in the vineyard and maturation in the sun. In this wine, desired and loved by Marilisa Allegrini, we find the authentic colors, scents and flavors of these lands so close to the sea.

Vermentino 100% (selections of Vermentino clones from Corsica)

Bright straw yellow in color, with a substantial consistency. Solosole is characterized by a vibrant freshness, which is delicate and balanced.

The aromas are both floral, white flowers and acacia and fruity, yellow and tropical. The acidity is crisp and there is a nice creaminess on the mid-palate, which makes for a full, rounded mouthfeel.
