Chamarel VSOP is a selection of exceptional Rums made from fresh sugarcane juice. Less than 5% of the world's production of rum is made this way, yielding a dramatically different product. La Rhumerie de Chamarel, located on the African island of Mauritius, cultivates its own sugarcane, creating estate rums. The freshly harvested sugarcane is transferred to the distillery within 4 hours of being cut to preserve its freshness and aromas. This Pure Cane Rum is a blend of Column Still and pot still rums, each aged separately for 4 to 6 years in American Oak Barrels and French Oak Barrels. Chamarel VSOP is perfect for sipping neat, on the rocks with a twist of orange peel, or with your favourite mixer. It also shines in an Old-Fashioned cocktail. The rum is unisex and available in a 70cl size.
