The departure for the meeting point is scheduled for 8:20 AM, with times that may vary depending on the distance. After boarding the speedboat, we will travel approximately 40 minutes along the river to the village of Vassouras, known for its deep lagoons during the high water season, perfect for a refreshing swim. The main attraction here is the capuchin monkeys, which often appear to the delight of visitors. Next, we will head to the village of Mandacaru, where you can climb the Preguiças Lighthouse and enjoy a stunning panoramic view. In the village, there are options for crafts, caipirinhas, and ice creams with regional flavors. Finally, we will visit Caburé Beach, a peninsula surrounded by the river on one side and the sea on the other. The meal will be at a local restaurant. The return usually starts around 2:30 PM, with arrival expected by 3:30 PM.
