Private Wine Tour with Wine Tasting and Full Lunch (day trip)

It's a day trip to the Utiel-Requena wine region of about 6.5-7 hours. Your guide is a sommelier specialised in Valencian wines, who will tell you about the history of wine in Valencia region, about the grape varieties, and a lot more! We’ll first go to the village of Requena, where we’ll visit some 9th century caves. These were used for storing grains, oil and wine; the old clay pots are still there. Here we’ll do a first wine tasting... Our next stop is an authentic 19th century winery, where we'll go into the vineyards, then through the winery, following the wine making process from "grape to bottle". We end with a tasting of some of their wines. For lunch we'll go to the village for a complete local lunch with more wine… For wheelchair users, or groups of 1-2 people or more than 8 people - we can still do the tour - contact me directly!
