Pompeii and Vesuvius Private Day Trip from Naples Sorrento

Enjoy a day trip to ancient city of Pompeii and Vesuvius Nation Park with an expert local guide. Go back in time to the 1st century AD and discover the most important archaeological park in Italy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997. See the impressive ruins of the Roman city, which has been frozen since Mount Vesuvius erupted in AD 79, and you learn about everyday life in ancient Rome. Led by a professional guide with an art and archaeology background you will explore the highlights of Pompeii, including the Forum, the Bath-House, the houses, the spa and amphitheatre. After a small break for lunch in authentic local wine farm (expense included) your private driver will take you to the Vesuvius Volcano where you will learn more about the dramatic eruption while walking along the crater. Please note: we will spend around 2 hours in the Pompeii National Park and 1 hour and 30 minutes in the Vesuvius National Park. The rest of the time is allotted for transportation and lunch break.
