2020 Château Chasse-Spleen Moulis - Bordeaux Red G01

The Château Chasse-Spleen is located on the label of the Moulis-en-Médoc area. The peculiarity is that this wine is a vintage of a woman of character through Lucrèse Castaing and Rosa Ferrière.

Although forgotten by the classification of 1855, Chasse-Spleen was classified as Grand Cru Exceptionnel, which does justice to its quality. It remains the first of the bourgeois crus until 1970. The ephemeral classification of 2003 confirmed the remarkable quality of this vintage. 

Deep, brilliant, and clear Bordeaux color.

The nose offers aromas of black pepper, candied mandarin peel, and blackberry.

On the palate, a rich, enveloping volume and very fine tannins. Good balance. A supple, smooth wine with roasted notes and a touch of vanilla. A finish of ripe jelly.
