Pouilly Fuisse 2023 Louis Jadot - Burgundy White B03

Located in the southern part of Burgundy, at the North limit of Beaujolais area, Pouilly Fuissé is the top of the Mâconnais wines, in the heart of the great whites appellations (Pouilly Fuissé, Pouilly Loché, Pouilly Vinzelles and Saint Véran). Pouilly Fuissé is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes. The production is small (700 hectares planted) and cover steep slopes of the village of Fuissé, Solutré, Pouilly, Vergisson and Chaintré, on which the soils are a mixture of clay and chalk from the Jurassic era.

Maison Louis Jadot produces a Pouilly Fuissé with emerald gold tones which reflect a wine of finesse and distinction. The tasting is harmonious, fresh, full of flavors with hazelnuts, toasted almonds, grapefruit and lemon aromas.
