As many as 7 out of a total of 11 films from the series about Winnetou were shot in the immediate vicinity of Starigrad-Paklenica, which over the years has become a favorite destination for lovers of Karl Maya's novels and films about Winnetou, and the beautiful filming locations are still preserved in their beauty today.
