2018 Château Grand-Puy-Lacoste Pauillac - Bordeaux Red G01

Château Grand-Puy Lacoste is located on the Bages plateau in Pauillac. It originated from a division of the large Grand-Puy estate in the 18th century, which also produced Châteaux Lynch-Bages and Grand Puy Ducasse. François-Xavier Borie ranked Grand-Puy Lacoste as the fifth largest wine estate in 1855 and successfully elevated it to the highest level of  Pauillac's finest winery . The estate's second wine is called Lacoste-Borie.

Grape Varieties:  78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 22% Merlot

Very ripe dark fruits: blackcurrant, elderberry, blackberry, and black cherry. With aeration, peppery and licorice notes emerge.

Beautiful complexity, with hints of chocolate and cardamom.

A velvety and fragrant style, with a lovely length.
