Niteroi City Tour & Niemeyer route

On the other side of Guanabara Bay, we can find the city of Niteroi. The city is nicknamed "The Smile City" (Cidade Sorriso), it is just a short ferry ride from downtown Rio across the Guanabara Bay or just a drive over the longest bridge in Brazil, the "Ponte Rio-Niterói", just like the name says it connects both cities. Niteroi was not only the old capital of the state of Rio de Janeiro when Rio de Janeiro was still the capital of Brazil. It is also the city with some of the most amazing architecture of Oscar Niemeyer like the Museum of Contemporary Art and you have the best views of the Rio de Janeiro Sky line.
