Private Ourika Valley Day Trip from Marrakech

Depart in the morning around 9am towards valley which is 30km away from Marrakesh. This valley is essentially populated with Berbers and rushes gradually at the top of the Moroccan Atlas. In spite of its closeness with Marrakesh, it is still considered as a relatively protected valley. Its visit allows you to combine the discovery of spectacular nature and a traditional lifestyle. We shall pass by Tafza, where is the Berber Ecomuseum of the valley of Ourika. It puts forward the Berber culture through a collection of photos, potteries, jewels, carpets and weavings. After visit, we go towards Setti Fatma, the last accessible douar by the tarred road. This small village is the departure point of numerous excursions to the mountains. The easiest and most appreciated hike consists in rising along a mountain stream to discover 7 levels of waterfalls. On the way back, you will have lunch by the river, on the terrace of a small traditional restaurant. We will be back in Marrakech around 5pm.
