One of the most beautiful monuments in our city, considered the finest example of Baroque architecture in Seville and also the pinnacle of Baroque art in Europe. Because it's not located in the most well-known historic center, it's perhaps the least appreciated, and yet, despite its simplicity compared to the majestic Cathedral and the impressive Alcázar, it is in no way inferior to either of them in terms of architectural merit. An aura of mystery and mysticism is as much a part of this Baroque marvel as its sculptures, architecture, and history.
